Redding Chosen Elite

Redding Chosen Elite is the Northern California branch of the Chosen Elite AAU basketball program. This program provides athletes in the Redding area with the opportunity to compete at a higher level while continuing the Chosen mission of developing athletes both on and off the court.

Redding Chosen Elite focuses on building the complete athlete — mind, body, and character. Through structured practices, competitive tournaments, and mentorship, players are challenged to grow as leaders, teammates, and young men and women of integrity.

The Redding program is led by Program Director Aaron Meeks, who oversees player development, team operations, and program growth in the region.

Aaron Meeks – Director, Chosen Elite Redding

Aaron Meeks serves as the Director of the Chosen Elite AAU Program in Redding, California, where he leads the development, growth, and overall vision of the program. With a strong passion for youth development and community impact, Aaron is committed to building a program that develops athletes both on and off the court.

As Director, Aaron oversees all aspects of the Redding Chosen Elite program, including coach leadership, player development, team structure, and competitive scheduling. He works closely with the Chosen Sports Leagues leadership team to ensure alignment in standards, culture, and mission—creating a consistent experience across all Chosen Elite locations.

Aaron is dedicated to providing athletes with high-level training, exposure opportunities, and mentorship that prepares them for the next level. His leadership emphasizes discipline, character, and accountability, while fostering an environment where athletes can grow in confidence, skill, and purpose.

Through his work, Aaron aims to expand opportunities for youth in the Redding area by building a sustainable, competitive, and impactful AAU program under the Chosen Elite brand.
